Carole’s Chronicles: Introducing the Robins of Ruskin Street in West Roxbury
I am very used to helping clients find their dream home and enjoy it very much. Recently, I discovered a mother Robin nesting in one of my hanging plants at 12 Ruskin Street in West Roxbury–one of Boston’s finest neighborhoods. She has created a tiny, but perfectly rounded nest in which she has so delicately delivered and arranged her three (3) beautifully bright blue baby Robin’s eggs!

She is the most patient mother, and a wonderful client, roosting continually in her new dwelling. I am fascinated with her. She is my newest client, albeit a little different, and I am delighted to say she has found her dream home! Another satisfied customer for Carole White of Century 21 Carole White Associates

Well Carole, this is beautiful! But I am still puzzled! No fee you said! Is that mean that you are becoming one of those discount brokers out there!
Please reassure me!
You’ve just made Mr. Mojo smile
And Mr. Mojo never smiles….
How very sweet and tender the Robins of Ruskin Street are.! Thank-you for sharing this with us. I look forward to the next episode and will continue to follow all the sequels…
Now, that was interesting + the filming was great nice close up of the bright blue egg’s and return of the nesting mom robin. Can’t wait for the next update! Carole the plant is a blue lobelia. Looks well tended , too!
Hi Carole,
This must be so much fun for your you to watch !!! I hope the Robin family remains a pleasant client to work with and may she bring you lots of referrals in the years to come !!
Thanks for sharing. I look forward to meeting the Robin children soon.
Delightful! I was amazed at the color of the eggs having never seen a Robin’s egg before. Can’t wait to see the babies.
A truly gratifying sale if ever there was one
After a visit last night to the Robins on Ruskin St. my two girls 8 and 6 were buzzing with anticipation as to when the babies will hatch! That was the first time they had seen an actual live egg in a nest!-they had brought home a broken shell before from a robin’s egg before. First thing this morning they wanted to call Carole and check on the eggs! Keep us posted Carole!
Hi Carole,
Wow, Hollywood in West Roxbury. You give new meaning to the term, “independent film.” Glad to see that the robins are safe and well cared for on Ruskin Street. Everybody needs a home!
Peace,
Brother Robert
Thanks Carole!
Shari-Great idea to share this with the kids. My sons Paul 12 and Sean 10 are going to love this.
Hi Carole,
What a lovely nature story and a satisfied customer. Will you locate a winter residence for the Robin Family? Do Robins fly south for the winter months? I look forward to learning more.
Michelle

Matt! Oh Matt! We love you anyway!
How are those Robins doing Carole? Can’t wait to hear the happy ending!
And for Carole Dolan, yes, the robins usually fly away for the winter. However, this past winter, the weather was warm for quite some time and robins miss their flight! (so to speak) like many other birds. I saw one dying of cold one day at the Jamaica Pond, took my fleece hat and wrapped him inside the hat. I thought I will take care of him at home in a small cage until the freezing cold will get better. He got better and I released him later at the same spot because I had seen his mate there calling each day (or at least the romantic one in me likes to think so).
